What is Medical Myotherapy?
Medical massage or 'medical myotherapy' consists of assessing, treating, and managing the pain associated with soft tissue injury and restricted joint mobility caused by myofascial or muscular dysfunction.
Using a combination of manual therapies, assisted stretching, and other techniques, my goal is to help you reduce or eliminate pain and soreness, manage stress, and restore balance, flexibility and joint range of motion.
Myotherapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions like:
Muscle spasm, strains, sprains, headache and back ache, tendonitis, hip and neck pain, acute and chronic stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue, and other issues. For more information about treatment methods, click the button below.
I grew up on a small farm in Lower Bucks County, PA. I graduated from the University of Delaware as a Registered Nurse and I currently practice as a nurse in a hospital setting specializing in orthopedic and sports medicine in Philadelphia, PA. I live in North Delaware near Brandywine Creek. I obtained certification as a massage practitioner at the Owens Institute of Massage and Holistic Sciences. I now study holistic science and wellness medicine independently.
I’m a passionate healer utilizing an evidence-based approach, and I’m dedicated to helping my clients move through a wide range of transitions. My mission is to change lives and restore physical, mental, and spiritual balance in a natural and healthy environment.
